Grand Rapids, Michigan Winter Engagement

Vanessa and Nick are currently living in Michigan and although they are from Houston and will be getting married at Madera Estates in the spring, they wanted something unique for their engagement session. They decided that Grand Rapids, Michigan was the perfect place for their winter engagement photos. I love snow and am always ready for adventure outside of Houston so I was excited. Grand Rapids, also called “Beer City” is such a quaint town with its record number of breweries, cider farms, and an equally impressive historic downtown. It was a bitter 25 degrees all day but Vanessa and Nick had a blast and it really shows in their photos. We were able to make a pitstop at Madcap Coffee downtown to warm up and have a latte. The photos we took in the coffee shop window are some of our favorites.
